- Lives by the motto of the great Mame Dennis: Life is a banquet and most poor bastards are starving to death.
THEATER
Early in his career, Nelson had performed in numerous college & community theatrical productions, among them were:
- The Shadow Box (Stephen)
- Dames At Sea (Dick)
- Guys & Dolls (Benny Southstreet)
- Finian’s Rainbow (Sheriff)
- Twelfth Night (Chorus)
- The Fantasticks (Matt)
- Ibsen’s Ghosts
- You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown)
- Anything Goes (Chorus)
- The Desk Set
- Night Must Fall (Danny)
- The Gay 90’s Revue (Singer/Actor – performed songs and skits from the 1890’s)
In 2008, Nelson re-entered the stage in Women Behind Bars playing The Matron (he now has tremendous respect for what drag queens go through).
FILMS
Nelson made this film debut in 2008 in Truelove directed by Mike Castro. Since then, the phone has taken on an eerie silence (probably because it sits in the cradle wrong).
SPECIAL TALENTS
Witty banter (like Stage Door), tap dancing (like 42nd Street) and singing (like in the shower).
