Mike has had a long and utterly unprofitable creative career:
- Early on he tried his hand at writing, submitting several scripts to the BBC, only to be politely refused.
- His first novel, "Running On Empty", met a similar fate (revisiting it years later proved the wisdom of the publishers... it stinks).
- A decade of writing and recording music in his home studio produced an impressive catalog of thoroughly unmarketable music.
- Photography was the passion for a decade and Mike actually sold some of his work to various media outlets.
- Success at last came in the form of the novel "The Story So Far", which was published by booklocker.com and racked up sales in the dozens.
- Flush with this triumph, Mike promptly combined his love of photography and writing and began training himself to be a film maker.
- Mike founded MPC Studios with one simple truth in mind, "It's never about the money... which is a good thing, because there isn't any to be had."
