August 11, 1965 will always be remembered as the day the Watts Riot broke out in Los Angeles, sparking six days of violent protest for civil rights. While in a small town on the other side of a troubled country, a child was born into a world of racial tension, international war and the threat of nuclear annihilation and after quickly causing the destruction of his family, he was adopted into the clan that would try to destroy him and he would be called Bob Joy. So dark was his life that his only light came from within, and the fuel for that fire was comedy.

As he grew older, his flame burned brighter, the magic he once kept to himself was becoming noticeable to those around him and when he began to freely share this gift, he emerged from his cocoon of depression as a butterfly of mirth and whimsy. In sharing his joy, Bob has touched many, but still feels there are many more who need him to fill some hole in their life -- and he is always happy to oblige.
